Enjoy a weekend full of educational and entertaining programs, demonstrations, and activities commemorating and celebrating Culpeper's rich history!

Discover Culpeper's Colonial and Civil War history with a walking tour of downtown Culpeper or a bus tour with local historian Bud Hall. Attend the Grand Re-Opening of the Museum of Culpeper History at the historic train depot and view the new exhibit, " 'Yet in its Desolation, it is Beautiful': Strains of War and the Final Days of the Confederacy, 1864". commemorating the American Civil War and its effect on Culpeper. Aviation enthusiasts will love visiting the Open Hangars and flying vintage aircraft at the Culpeper Regional Airport. Kids ages 8-17 will enjoy FREE flights and your own flight certificate sponsored by the Young Eagles Program.

Whether your historical interests reside in the 18th, 19th, or 20th centuries, take the weekend and discover all three in Culpeper. There's fun for the entire family during Remembrance Days weekend. Most events are FREE and fun for the whole family!

In celebration of the Grand Re-Opening of the Museum of Culpeper History the museum is offering FREE admission ALL weekend.  However, donations to preserve Culpeper's history are appreciated and can be made at the ticket link above or at the museum.
