The King George Cooperative Extension Office with assistance from volunteer Master Gardeners is offering the first in a series of programs for garden enthusiasts.  Tomatoes - Part I will be offered on Tuesday, April 8, at 6:30 pm, at the KG Extension Office.  Benny Goodman of Kordent Farms and tomato grower extraordinaire, will explain how and when to start tomatoes and lots of other tips for growing the most popular plant in the home garden.  Later in the season we’ll meet at Kordent Farm for Tomatoes - Part II.  For a complete list of the 2014 Green Talks programs, check the home page for the KG Extension Office under Programs (http://offices.ext.vt.edu/king-george) or drop by the Extension Office for a paper copy.   Green Talks programs are free but advance registration is required.  For more information or to register, contact the KG Extension Office at 775-3062.
