Treat yourself or a friend to a special afternoon at the Fredericksburg Area Museum & Cultural Center’s Spring Tea on Saturday May 10, 2014, from 12 to 3 pm.
Local flower designer Betsy Valentine will present a flower, arranging demonstration, including how to make a hand-tied bouquet for Mother’s Day, and local cookbook author Peggy Conway will sign copies of Tastefully Fredericksburg, her popular compilation of local recipes. The Museum Store staff will serve the FAMCC’s custom “Anniversary Blend” tea and a special Museum Store boutique will be on site for gift purchases. A light lunch including finger sandwiches and homemade sweets will be served.
The Spring Tea will be presented in the Council Chamber of Town Hall located at 907 Princess Anne Street. Ages 16 and over are welcome, and seating will be limited. Tickets are $20 for FAMCC members and $25 for non-members. Tickets may be purchased in advance at www.famcc.org, in person at The Museum Store, 215 William Street, or by phone at 540-371-3037 ext. 125.
