Change An Adult's Life In Your Community!

Rappahannock Goodwill Industries

4701 Market Street
Fredericksburg, VA 22408

Hello to the Fredericksburg Community,

The GoodSkills Literacy Corps"an Adult Tutoring Program affiliated with Rappahannock Goodwill Industries"is in great need of Volunteers who are willing to help adults in the Fredericksburg and Stafford areas.

These adults need help with reading, writing, basic math, and computer skills.

The bottom line is, we need you. We have recently had an influx of new participants coming to us for help. Unfortunately, our volunteer numbers are currently unable to meet the demands of this important program.

So we ask you"on behalf of the many people who have come to us to improve their lives"to ask yourself these questions: Am I ready to make a difference in someone's life?

If you are able to read and write, or if you are good at math, or if you are great with a computer, please consider volunteering! You're volunteerism would be extremely beneficial to the Fredericksburg and Stafford communities, and we promise that we will accommodate you as a tutor in any way we can.

There is no experience necessary for our program, only a willingness and passion to help.

We provide training as well as any materials you may need, and we always make sure that our volunteers are comfortable with the participants we place them with.

For more information or if you are interested, don't hesitate to call. Our number (540)-371-3070 ext. 259 or email us at americorps@fredgoodwill.org.

Thank you for your time and we look forward to hearing from you!

Sincerely,

GoodSkills Literacy Corps
