Second Saturday at the Museum

Join us August 9 from 1-3 PM for Second Saturdays at the Museum.  This month, children and their care givers can learn about victory gardens during World War II.  During this program children can create plant pal starter pots for a herb garden of their own.  Recommended age for this program is 8 years old and below. This event is FREE.

Second Saturdays at the Museum is a regularly scheduled family program that includes hands-on activities, make-and-take crafts, and an opportunity to explore the Museum’s exhibits.  The program is held on the second Saturday of each month, with varying topics and themes related to the Museum’s permanent and temporary exhibitions.  Second Saturdays at the Museum is a FREE program unless otherwise specified.  Registration is not required.  For additional information on this program, please contact Tramia Jackson at tjackson@famcc.org or 540-371-3037 x140.
