Learn and enjoy the best of the late '90's in cinema Academy Awards history. We will look at the Academy Awards Best Pictures and the nominations during the President Bill Clinton/Monica Lewinsky years, from 1995 through 1999. Looking at this era of Hollywood and the movies, this outstanding film lecture will examine each year's Academy Awards Best Picture nominations and you, the audience, will vote for the best picture during each year. We'll show clips from such films as Braveheart, Jerry Macquire, Fargo, Titanic, L.A. Confidential, and Saving Private Ryan. This series has been a hit each month as veteran film lecturer and writer Gary Olsen explains in context every nomination and why they were selected, as well as a viewing of clips from each nominee. Juicy gossip tidbits of the movie stars and the films' creators will be revealed. Come 15 minutes before showtime and you'll see the Oscar-winning Best Song from each year. You'll never forget such an experience and return each month for another era's examination of the Academy Awards.
