Come celebrate Fredericksburg's 20th-century history with the Historic Fredericksburg Foundation, Inc. at the Vintage Route 1 Tour & Downtown Community Day on September 6, 2014.
This year’s event will include an all-new walking tour focusing on Sophia Street and its evolution as a response to the popularity and growth of US Route 1. Tickets are on sale now. Ticket holders will also receive free admission to the Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center on the day of the event (9/6/14).
Riverfront Park will be the hub of this year’s free activities from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and should not be missed! On the stage will be a vintage fashion show as well as live music. The park will also host vendors and children's activities, including HFFI's Jr. Archaeology Lab.
And for guests of all ages, there will be a classic car display by the Historic Fredericksburg Region AACA and this year’s 20th-century history exhibits! See vintage images of Fredericksburg and its residents while learning about life in Fredericksburg.
